Roles and responsibilities
Your mission:
• You provide expert advices to Assets Manager and Bourbon Marine & Logistics Executive Committee regarding vessels integrity and capabilities.
• You optimize the Planned Maintenance Period (PMP) project management standards and methodologies.
• You prioritize and monitor works or studies related to vessel life cycle and technical safety, coordinating internal and external suppliers, and other relevant initiatives.
• You build BML vessels retrofit projects and participate to GHG reduction initiatives
Main responsibilities :
'Vessels integrity and capabilities :
- consolidation of decision making technical inputs (technical needs, risks & mitigations…) for assets manager and Executive Committee
'Planned Maintenance Period project management standards and methods :
- implementation of industry best practices and cutting edge approaches (PMP project timeline, risks mitigation, cash forecast and management, reporting…)
- training of PMP project managers and superintendents, competencies certification
Vessels life-cyle and GHG reduction initiatives :
- works priorization of internal services providers (Bourbon Tech Solutions, procurement) and works validations…
- technical watch and elaboration of external contracts (engineering studies)
- technical support to operational excellence team for all related to technical safety and GHG reduction
'Vessels retrofit projects :
- definition and management of BML life extension survey project (condition assessment program approach)
- elaboration of retrofit scope of works (including GHG reduction solutions) and projects (discussions with procurement, yards and makers)
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Project Management
Know-how to plan, manage and monitor project activity, schedules, resources allocation, time scales and timelines with associated budget in order to deliver on time, within budget and at the required quality level.
Interact & Networking
Take diversity into account, manage change, use efficiently internal decision making circuits, contribute to continuous improvement, and is able to lead meetings at every level of the organization.
Know-how to develop internal & external network: identifying key contact, connecting, nurturing and building relationship and trust over time, using network to identify opportunities.
Proven experience in Marine technical field and projects management (maintenance, new building…)
