Roles and responsibilities

Job Summary:

-You will be an operational link amongst the Operations Manager to assist on the day-to-day operations and long-term projects.
-You will be responsible for following up action plans, best practices sharing and communicating on operational matters.

 

Duties and responsibilities:
-Register and keep data bases updated and online for external inspections (assist preparation of inspection of vessel, share best practices, actions and answers).
-Ensure documentation and certificates up to date.
-Maintain close relationship with Class societies, Flags.
-Assist for the good development of levels of OSM as per BOURBON’s plan;
-Follow and register Referent Masters planning and answer to Operations Managers’ needs;
-Follow expectations activities of the fleet and report;
-Assist the Operations Managers in answering to marketing department for new tenders;
-Prepare and propose with the Operations Director any communication to share   best practices;
-Assist the Operations Managers upon approval of the Operations Director for day-to-day activities in case of extra work and vacations.
-Perform other cognate duties as may be required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

Your profile:
-Hold a degree in Business Administration and/or alternate relevant qualification;
-A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar position and have a sound exposure in multi-national company;
-Knowledge of marine industry and/or oil and gas industry will be a plus (STCW, MLC 2006, flags, etc.);
-Sound organizational skills and able to manage priorities;
-Dynamic and polyvalent and you have excellent communication and customer-service skills;
-Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and to think and act quickly under pressure;
-Willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
-Have good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;
-A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
