Roles and responsibilities
MISSION
To support and conduct maintenance of equipment and provide efficient support on board of all BOURBON vessels as and when required. Overhaul repair all electrical equipment to keep BINL Fleet to 95% technical availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Define & Assure optimization of the Maintenance Plan in accordance with requirements
-Harmonize a cost-effective planned maintenance system (incl. stock management)
- Analysis of repetitive equipment failures and implementation of proactive solutions
- Estimate of maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives
-Implement a cost-effective planned maintenance system (incl. stock management)
- Assessing the needs for equipment replacements or upgrades and establish replacement or upgrades programs when due
- Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment
- Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with maintenance of equipment
- Providing technical clarification and guidance as required
- Providing technical support and guidance as required
- Define Technical Standards & procedures
- Tracking of incident rates on your domain, identify endemic issues
- Lead the technical expertise on your domain

B.Sc. / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
