Roles and responsibilities

1.     QHSE
 

Assist in maintaining Fleet Incident Rate in line with BOURBON plan objective
Compliancy with operations’ SMS procedures
Stop any transaction or activity which could be in breach of the BOURBON Code of Conduct Policy or applicable legal compliance requirements
Collaborate closely with all involved stakeholders to assess all risks using MOC
2.     Standards and Client satisfaction
Participate to OVID Internal and External inspections and assist for items closure in the OCIMF database on time
Supervise vessel operational performance in close cooperation with Vessel Manager
Participate actively in yearly SMS review
Assist Vessel manager as single point of accountability for their dedicated vessels visa a vise contract managers, logistic managers and other departments
Keep track Circulars, Corporate Bulletins, Maintenance Alerts and Maintenance Instructions
Be available to assist Fleet Manager for specific tasks when required

 

 
3.     Shipmanagement
Assist Operations in operating vessels in a safe manner
Assist Vessel Manager for his dedicated vessels in competetive manner by optimizing the expenses
Assist Operations in maintaining vessels Class and Flag certificates valid at all time
Visit vessels on regular basis
Participate to all internal and external audits (ISM) and flag’s survey preparation, follow up and NC closure
Efficiently organise his tasks on daily basis so no delay is being observed
Work closely with Crewliners team and other collaborators to achieve a shared goal or outcome in an effective way

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

Fleet Management & Regulations - Knowledge of flag, class and port state requirements, Maritime national & international conventions and regulations
Fleet Management - Knowledge of the differents OSV operations techniques
Fleet Specification - Technical knowledge of offshore support vessels types
     

Incident Investigation - Know-how to analyze and manage incidents (reporting, event management, investigation, root cause analysis, closure & follow-up).

     
Maintenance Tools Management      

     
Standards Promotion and Application - Know industry standards: OVID, OSM standard, ISM, IMCA. Know-how to perform OSMSA related to his/her own scope of responsibilities

Supplier Relationship Management - Able to source cost effective suppliers vs identified needs, negotiate & issue contracts and SLA’s, evaluate performance, build fair and long term relationships, audit against BOURBON, legal and regulatory requirements.
HSE Culture Awareness and Promotion - Know-how to promote and lead HSE culture and awareness in his/her scope of responsibility
