-Provide administrative support to keep HSE level at the highest standard and ensure that they are compliant with all HSE requirements as per OSHA Act and any other regulations
-Conduct internal audits throughout the business and monitor progress.
-Generate statistics in respect of incidents, injuries or any other health and safety hazards in offices.
-Identify, design and deliver health and safety training, activities and programmes to managers and employees with the assistance of the HSE Manager.
-Monitor the working environment ensuring employees are placed in a safe and secure workplace and report unsatisfactory conditions.
-Review job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures and write reports and recommendations.
-Conduct and coordinate emergency procedures, evacuation, fire-fighting and first aid crews.
-Conduct safety and health committee as required by OSHA 2005 and communicate the minutes to all stakeholders and the authority as per legal requirement.
-Monitor and ensure all actions identified are duly followed and closed in a timely manner.
-Manage the office environmental sustainability (waste segregation, energy consumption, recycling office materials etc) in accordance with BOURBON guidelines.
-Assist in the correct supply of the mandatory Company HSE documentation to the new buildings and in operation vessels, and for onshore facilities
-Analyze BOG HSE statistics to identify trends and assist HSE Manager in developing Action Plans to minimize incident rates and improve HSE performance
-Provide reports and feedback to HSE Manager in order to allow development of accurate trends and statistical performance
-Implement new procedures based on HSE guidelines as delegated by HSE Manager.
-Promote Bourbon’s HSE culture, coach employees on the subject and check implementation as directed by the HSE Manager
-Promote health awareness and focus on preventable, work related and lifestyle- based health conditions and the minimizing of health risks to the workforce.
-Perform any other cognate duties as required by the Management.
- Hold as minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety or a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and/or any other alternate equivalent qualification.
- Have as minimum 3 years’ experience as HSE Coordinator or HSE Consultant, or equivalent position in Maritime or Oil and Gas company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including the ability to effectively communicate during crisis situations.
- Have a good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point Presentation.

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
