Roles and responsibilities

MISSION

Maintain the technical availability of the electrical components of the SURFER fleet and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, including dry dock activities to achieve this goal.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical components from the SURFER vessels
  • Conduct a full condition survey of all the electrical components from the vessel during the dry dock and stop over period (planned maintenance)
  • Prepare the scope of work, detailed planning with workforce and spare parts requirements
  • Manage the revision of electrical components to ensure profitability
  • Monitor and report monthly the consumption of electrical components.
  • Create purchase requests to maintain stock at a correct level taking into consideration the different delivery times
  • Carry out inventory and monthly update the list to send to his line management
  • Contribute to develop the team spirit and their knowledge, promote the HSE rules

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bsc / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

 

EXPERIENCES

  • 8 years electrical engineering experience in the Marine industry
