As Vessel Manager, you will lead the operational team responsible for delivering safe, reliable and efficient vessel operations in line with Bourbon standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the operations and performance of your assigned fleet, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and applicable standards; 
• Managing and supporting Captains; 
• Coordinating the day-to-day work of the operational team; 
• Building strong client relationships and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with contractual commitments and budgets; 
• Monitoring fleet audits, following up on corrective actions and ensuring their effective closure; 
• Promoting a strong HSE culture across the fleet, including compliance with Bourbon standards on emergency drills, incident reporting and the Code of Conduct;
• Acting as the designated person and primary point of contact for Captains and internal stakeholders; 
• Working closely with Shipman departments, Captains, Chief Engineers, Flag and Class authorities, and suppliers.

You will perform your duties on a B2B basis, following a rotation schedule of 7 weeks ON / 7 weeks OFF. 

You have a Master’s degree, a Chief Engineer’s Certificate, or a qualification in Business Management, together with managerial experience in a shipping company.

You will also bring:

• Experience in fleet management and vessel operations; 
• A sound understanding of risk management, HSE compliance and maritime standards, including ISM and ISPS; 
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage pressure effectively; 
• The ability to analyse operational data and prepare clear reports.
