Roles and responsibilities
- Receive the directives and issue same within International Offshore Manning and to internal agencies and external agencies.;
- Manage the recruitment of International Offshore Personnel as per clients’ expectations and satisfaction.;
- Identify and manage the Training Requirements of International Offshore Personnel as per client’s requirement;
- Ensure updated records of seniority and Shipman performance appraisal;
- Identify ‘most exposed’ or critical offshore roles (e.g., high‑risk, high turnover, niche skills) within the offshore pool;
- Identify top skill sets within the seafarer population and maintain a talent inventory;
- Define succession criteria and carry out talent assessments in line with corporate guidelines;
- Implement Talent Development plan and Training;
- Coordinate with Shipman and relevant stakeholders when offshore personnel are to be promoted or moved to higher offshore ranks or on‑shore positions.
- Review, update and monitor the succession plan for offshore talent regularly to ensure readiness and coverage.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
- Minimum Degree in HR Management or alternate equivalent qualification;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience HR/ Career Management or in any similar position in Maritime or Oil and Gas Company;
- Sound understanding of offshore roles, marine/offshore certifications, seafarer training frameworks and career management in a maritime/offshore environment.
- Experience with talent management, succession planning, performance and training coordination.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, communication (internal/external), and cross‑cultural awareness (international seafarer pools).
- Sound organisation skills and rigorous with a professional approach at all times;
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines;
- Willing to work independently and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
- Have an excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel skills; and
- A good command of French and English is essential.
