Roles and responsibilities

  • Ensure fleet integrity and reliability performing preventive and corrective maintenance in conformity with Sonasurf Maintenance Standards
  • Comply with all SONASURF HSE-related
     Health and Safety policy;
     Environmental policy;
     Stop Work policy;
     Drug and Alcohol policy;
     Smoking policy;
     Safe Driving policy;
     Clear Deck policy.
    Support and Improve Fleet HSE Culture
  • Ensure fleet integrity and reliability performing preventive and corrective maintenance in conformity with Sonasurf
    Maintenance Standards:
    ‐ Perform fleet preventive maintenance ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements, customers standard, budget
    and availability rate targets
    ‐ Perform Unplanned corrective
  • Maintenance aiming to reduce technical downtime and cost to the minimum.
    -Report daily maintenance performed and
    Spare parts used to Technical Superintendent in charge of vessel
    -Maintain tools in good condition
  • ‐ Contribute to Sonasurf maintenance
    Standards improvement, ensuring
    documented feedback on SSA maintenance
  • Perform all tasks requested by line
    -Participate to Spare Parts inventories
    -Participate to maintenance at Surfer repair
    -Participate to Equipment revamping in

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences


  • Marine Engineer / Technical engineering diploma


  • 5 years experience in mechanical positions


• Proficiency in offshore supply vessels and crew boats mechanic
• Knowledge of the safety tools and procedures
• Knowledge of design and operation of specific technical installations / engines of SSA fleet (MAN, Hamilton jets)
• Capacity of analysis and investigation

Capacity to propose a repair plan adapted
• Good oral and written communication skills
• English: read, spoken and written
• Proficient with Excel
