Roles and responsibilities
Job Summary:
Lead the end-to-end recruitment of International Offshore Personnel to meet operational requirements and crewing expectations. The role ensures timely sourcing, evaluation, and deployment of qualified candidates while maintaining high standards of compliance and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment of Offshore Personnel as per clients’ expectations and satisfaction.
- Ensure timely issuance of complete and accurate candidate profiles to relevant stakeholders.
- Advertise positions on job portals, social media and any other platforms relevant to the recruitment request.
- Use appropriate communication with candidates in order to promote the employer brand, convince candidate to join the company at proposed conditions and build up sourcing network.
- Maintain a high-quality talent pool for various offshore roles, proactively identifying and engaging potential candidates.
- Collaborate with crewing managers, clients, and internal teams to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
- Monitor and track recruitment KPIs, including time-to-hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Conduct interviews and reference checks to ensure candidates meet requirements.
- Contact past employers of candidate to confirm employment history and confirm performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to recruitment team members to enhance their performance and development.
- Monitor and validate recruitment invoices, ensuring that sourcing activities do not incur any unnecessary costs for BMSG.
- Perform any other cognate duties as required
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Your profile:
Hold as minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or any other alternate relevant qualification.
You have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in the talent acquisition field.
Knowledge of marine industry and/or oil and gas industry will be a plus (STCW, MLC 2006, crew changes, flags, etc.).
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and to think and act quickly under pressure and meet deadline.
Willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
Have good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;
A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
