Roles and responsibilities
- Support process owners to develop processes and documentation;
- Verify consistency and conformity of QMS-controlled documents in the QMS through document validation;
- Ensure the control of documents and records indicated in the Affiliate’s processes and recommend new documents or records to the corresponding Process Owner whenever deemed necessary;
- Monitor and consolidate reports on stakeholders’ satisfaction;
- Manage audits and inspections, non-conformities, awards, complaints and suggestions for improvement of the organization;
- Ensure root cause analysis of process deviations, non-conformities and observations raised and ensure effective closure based on evidence;
- Consolidate, analyse and follow-up with the Affiliate’s Organisations and process owners on the audits and inspections programme in place;
- Support the management of specific projects and research;
- Manage documentation and data collection;
- Provide assistance for communication campaigns, webinars, newsletters and social media;
- Assist the evaluation team in the evaluation of contracts with local/ JV Affiliate suppliers against Procurement Procedure and Operational Safety Management (OSM) requirements;
- Ensure monitoring of identified critical suppliers;
- Maintain records of all contracts reviews in the contract register;
- Evaluate and audit critical suppliers as per requirements;
- Provide seamless backup support to other teammates;
The Quality Officer is linked hierarchically to the Process Excellence Lead and Compliance Coordinator.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
- Minimum Higher School Certificate and a professional certificate in Quality
- Management and/or a relevant equivalent qualification;
- Have at least a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, or an administrative position or as a travel agent;
- Knowledge of the Marine Industry and/or the Oil and Gas industry is a plus;
- Demonstrate good listening and communication skills;
- Sound organizational skills and be rigorous with a professional approach at all times;
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize matters and meet deadlines;
- Willing to work independently and be comfortable working in a multicultural environment;
- Have an excellent knowledge of MS Office/especially Excel skills; and
- A good command of both French and English is essential.
