Roles and responsibilities

Manning Compliance

  • Act as the guardian of the Group HR manning framework, ensuring harmonisation, compliance, and alignment of internal and external manning practices across all regions and affiliates.
  • Ensure governance of the manning MLC audit framework, cost efficiency in the utilization of external manning agencies, oversee audit coordination activities.
  • Management of the Cost Control and Manning Audit Function ensuring full deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement across manning operations.
  • Lead the regulatory monitoring to ensure alignment with applicable maritime laws; MLC 2006 and related standards with internal policies

 

Continuous Improvement and Capability development

  • Ensure optimised audit tools, templates, and processes
  • Act as an MLC 2006 auditor when required and appointed.
  • Ensure that the Audit Team (Coordinator and Officer) take on more audit responsibilities as Auditors in terms of qualification, experience, and growth.

 

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with members of the verticals: HR, Supply Chain, Crewing, Quality on improvement initiatives.

 

Business Continuity

  • Provide seamless backup support to teammates and handle position-related tasks.

 

Projects

  • Coordinate ad-hoc operational improvement projects

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • Degree with Honours in Maritime Studies, Law, Business Administration, Finance, Quality Management, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in compliance, auditing and supporting manning operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with data tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting systems
