Roles and responsibilities

Typical day in the life as a Diesel Engines Maintenance Engineer:

  • Optimization of the Maintenance Plan for Diesel equipment by combining the most relevant approaches - preventive, corrective, condition based, predictive, upgrades.
  • Analysis of repetitive equipment failures, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective solutions.
  • Forecasting of spare parts requirements, define spare part stock requirements and strategy.
  • Assessing and reporting risks and safety hazards associated with maintenance of equipment. Support the relationship with strategic makers and suppliers.
  • Build and coordinate maintenance projects.
  • Analyze new maintenance technologies, approaches and determine their efficiency, applicability.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

What are we looking for:

  • University graduate in mechanical engineering (Diesel Engines knowledge is a plus).
  • Previous working experience in an engineering domain (Diesel Engines, maritime experience is a plus).
  • Medium knowledge of engine operation and maintenance.
  • Computer skill required : MS word/excel/outlook
  • Good English skills (write / speak / read), knowledge of technical language
