Roles and responsibilities
MISSION
Lead a multi-discipline Dry Dock Team in the safe and timely completion of the dry dock scope of work
Assist the Technical Manager to maintain BINL Technical Availability above 90%.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance activities for vessels assigned to him
Manage the different technical teams assigned to the dry dock project to ensure that the scope of work is completed safely, completely, on time and to a high standard.
Provide the Reliability Supervisor with daily updates of work progress, and highlight any areas of concern relating to quality or schedule.
- Conduct a full condition survey of the vessel before starting a dry dock period and assist in the preparation of the scope of work, detailing the labour, durations and spare parts required.
- Train and develop technical teams under his supervision to give them the skills needed in their daily tasks.
- Follow QHSE procedures and improve safety during all base maintenance activities.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the maritime industry in a technical department.
