Roles and responsibilities

Mission

Assist the Technical Manager to maintain BINL Technical Availability above 90%.

Interface with client with regard to day-to-day activities at the Escravos base.

Day-to-day support for the technical teams dedicated to the vessel maintenance at Escravos.

Responsibility

Monitoring the daily tasks of the Escravos technical team.

Provide the Technical Manager with all the necessary information to enable coherent decision-making.

Identify opportunities for improvement in Escravos base technical activities.

Follow the daily planned tasks and assist and instruct the technical teams with all problems and issues encountered.

Coordinate daily activities of BINL staff and vessels with the client and attend all client interface and security meetings.

Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for all BINL staff at Escravos.

Plan and monitor the availability of spare parts, tools, consumables and PPE to maintain the required standards for all BINL staff under his supervision at Escravos.

Development of training and development plans for technical teams under his supervision to give them the skills needed in their daily tasks.

Follow QHSE procedures and improve safety during all base maintenance activities. Monitor QHSE compliance of all vessels.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification.


Experiences
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in the maritime industry.
